These terms apply to your use of this website and to any purchases made through it. The Mothers Contempt Brewery is an independent brewery established in London in 2026. By using this website you agree to these terms.
You must be 18 years of age or older to buy or receive alcohol from The Mothers Contempt Brewery or use parts of this website intended for customers. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 and that the recipient is at least 18. We may ask for proof of age on delivery, and we may refuse or cancel any order where age cannot be verified or where the sale would breach licensing law.
All beers are offered subject to availability. An order is an offer to buy, and a contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable; delivery charges are shown before checkout. We may cancel an order and refund you in full if a product is unavailable, mispriced, or if we reasonably believe the order breaches these terms.
We brew bold beer and we expect it to be enjoyed responsibly. UK Chief Medical Officers advise not to drink more than 14 units of alcohol per week, spread over three or more days. Never drink and drive. Our website content is for adults of legal drinking age and is not aimed at anyone under 18.
The Mothers Contempt name, logo, beer names, recipes, artwork, photography and all other content on this website are owned by The Mothers Contempt Brewery or licensed to us. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other reproduction, distribution or commercial use requires our prior written permission.
We take care to keep this website accurate and available, but it is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot legally be excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
